YMCA CALLING OUT TO ALL  CAMP ALUMNI

            Next year marks the 40th anniversary of the inception of YMCA camps in Hunterdon County.  Beginning in 1967 with one camp location, the YMCA camp programs have grown significantly, proudly providing wonderful summer camp experiences to 1,700 kids each summer at three locations including Camp Carr, South Hunterdon and the Deer Path YMCA facility.  The YMCA is reaching out to all of its camp alumni to mark their calendars for a campers’ reunion planned for summer 2007.  The YMCA staff is looking forward to as many alumni as possible to enjoy a day of sharing fond camp memories, exchanging funny stories and meeting others who appreciate the fantastic experience of having been a YMCA camper.  Many campers have remained YMCA members and supporters throughout the years and have passed down their love of the YMCA to their children.  The YMCA would love to hear from camp alumni interested in sharing their interesting camp stories and now, perhaps those of their kids.  To contact the YMCA with your camp memories or photos, please send an e-mail to Jill Brown at jbrown@hcymca.org.  Campers remember to mark your calendars for next summer!  For registration information for 2006 summer camps, please call the Welcome Center of the Deer Path branch at (908) 782-1044.
