We are open over 100 hours per week and have 20 locations around the county, and it’s very likely we have an employment schedule to fit your needs. SUMMER CAMP EMPLOYMENT

Location: Camp Carr, Sports Camp or South Camp
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 am – 4:15 pm
First day of Camp: June 19
Age Requirement: Must be at least 15 by June 19

Employment at camp is fun, but also involves hard work, responsibility and commitment. You are taking care of someone’s child and safety is always first. There are a variety of positions at camp and a variety of levels of responsibility.

 


LEAD TEACHER—TODDLER ROOM  -  Full-time position with benefits

LocationRound Valley Child Learning Center
Hours:   Monday—Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (40 hours per week)
Salary Range: $12-$15 per hour
Duties:  Lead Toddler Room in daily schedule, tasks and routines. Build relationships with children and families. Create appropriate lessons using Creative Curriculum. Serve as role model for support staff.
Skills/Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience. Must have CDA, AA or BA in related field. Must be able to maintain a safe, secure and stimulating environment.

SCHOOL-AGE CHILDCARE OPENINGS - Site Director - After School Program - part time

LocationConley Elementary School, Bethlehem Township
Available Immediately
HoursPart-time; Monday through Friday, approximately 3-6 pm.
DutiesWill plan, coordinate and assist with the daily operations of the After School Program which involves care of children in grades K-6 in a structured environment. Program includes homework time, snack time, arts/crafts, games and outside play in a safe and fun environment. Supervise staff and interact with parents.
Skills Required: Must be caring, responsible, and enjoy working with children. Min. 21 years of age and college degree or high school diploma and 4 years experience working with children.

MEMBERSHIP SERVICES ASSOCIATE - part time

Location: Deer Path Branch
Shifts Available: Thurs. 1:30 - 5 pm, Fri. 8 am - 4 pm, Sat. 1 - 8:15 pm, Sun. 3 - 8:15 pm.
Must be willing to work Saturday and/or Sunday shift.
Duties: Responsible for all procedures related to enrollment of members, enrolling program participants, controlling access to the facility, and all facets of customer service, including recovery. Will establish relationships with members to create the best possible member experience.
Skills Required: Min. high school diploma, GED, or approved YMCA membership training. Min. 1 year membership service experience. Must have ability to treat people graciously in person and on phone and ability to communicate YMCA policies. Good computer skills and ability to complete transactions accurately.

BASKETBALL REFEREE — part time

Hours: Tuesday & Thursday, approx. 6pm—10pm, Deer Path Gym
Duties: Responsible for refereeing adult 4 on 4 Basketball League games.
Skills Required: Must have experience and good understanding of game. Good communication skills.

 LIFEGUARDS - part time

Location: Deer Path Branch
Hours: Weekday shifts available in afternoons and evenings. Weekend shifts also available.
Skills:  Lifeguarding certification including current CPR & first aid. Minimum age 15. Must be 18 or over for early morning shift.

Location:  Deer Path Branch
Hours:  Weekday afternoons and evenings. Weekend shifts also available.
Duties:  Instructors needed to teach swim lessons to children. Will train strong swimmers. Min. age: 15.
