One Step is a 16-week, 32 session course geared toward adults that have been medically diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The goal of One Step is to provide safe, therapeutic exercise that addresses the issues of fatigue, walking, weakness and depression and empowers with emotional support through facilitated conversation in a controlled environment. One Step curriculum is supported by the National MS Society of New Jersey. The course is led by a trained, certified instructor. Free program open to the public, but registration is required.
SESSION STARTS TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14
Classes meet twice a week at the Deer Path Branch
- Tuesdays at 11 am—aquatic session in pool
- Thursdays at 1:45 pm—land session in Multipurpose Room
