Erika’s Tip – All About Apples

Have you noticed our local farm stands and grocery stores are beginning to load up on APPLES! Apples conveniently come in their own packaging so you can take them anywhere. They’re also full of healthy nutrients – antioxidants, flavonoids, and fiber.

A small apple (about the size of a tennis ball) is approximately 75 calories. Add a tablespoon of nut butter to spread or dip and you have a healthy, filling snack!
