Happy first day of Spring!

Kick off Spring with a healthy start by following these 3 simple Spring Cleaning tips for your fitness routine:

  1. Get new kicks: 300-400 miles on a pair of shoes means it’s time to look at investing in a new pair. Good foot health is essential for staying pain and injury-free. Mark your calendar for our April 16 Foot & Ankle Wellness Talk).
  2. Get new gear: Give yourself permission to invest in new workout clothes. Choose clothes that make you feel comfortable, confident, and motivated.
  3. Change your goals: If you’ve focused on a fixed goal like a number on the scale or a specific amount of exercise time each week, shift you focus. Focus on how you feel. Do you feel healthy, invigorated, and not drained? Do you feel like you’re progressing? Even if you haven’t hit your specific goal, focusing on the positive progress you’ve made can help you stay motivated.

Clean out the old — shoes, clothes, thoughts, ideas, and fitness “baggage” — and move forward. Fine-tuning your healthy goals will propel you into Spring with a bit of refreshment!
