Easter “Hop To It” Workout
With Spring blossoms, Easter, and bunny sightings the talk on social media this week, we’ve created an energizing workout you can do while your HCY is closed on Easter Sunday. This workout is made up of plyometric exercises (plyos), which are exercises designed for repeated and rapid stretching and contracting of the muscles to increase muscle power.
Keep in mind, too much of a ‘hoppy’ workout is not necessarily good for your joints. Be sure to have proper form, soft landings, and practice other modalities of training to avoid injury.
Complete the 4 exercises in this circuit for 45-60 seconds each, with no rest between exercises. At the end of the circuit, rest for 2 minutes. Repeat the circuit 3 – 5 times.
