Carmen’s Post – Summer!

Summer is finally about to arrive, officially starting June 21.

The long sunny days are what we have dreamed of for months.

Get outside and enjoy all that Summer has to offer, but keep these thoughts in mind for your body’s safety and health:

  1. Plan your event or exercise to avoid the hottest time in the sun: Avoid Noon-3pm.
  2. Dress in light weight, light colored, loose fitting clothing.
  3. Don’t forget to accessorize: Suncreen, hat/visor, and sun glasses.
  4. Listen to your body and hydrate often with breaks from the heat.
