The key to making fitness a priority is to make it part of your lifestyle. As the kids head back to school and you re-adjust your schedule, think about how you can prioritize to make time for you!
Here are some ideas to help you get you started:
- Turn daily activities into exercise: Can you walk for some of your errands? Look for opportunities to get more exercise instead of taking the short cut.
- Be consistent: 30 minutes of exercise a day can be enough! If you skip a day, simply pick up the following day and get moving again.
- Fuel well: Pack a healthy lunch for those busy days of errands and meetings. It’ll keep your blood sugar levels steady and give you more energy at the end of your day.
- Schedule Me time: Get to the gym in the morning and then proceed full throttle ahead to the rest of your daily activities.
