Carmen’s Post – Two Questions I’m Asked The Most
I’ve been working in fitness for 11 years and here are the two most frequently asked questions:
1. Can I lose weight in the area I choose?
2. Will strength training make me bulky?
The answer to question #1 is simply NO. You do not get to choose what part of your body excess weight comes from when you lose weight.
The answer to question #2 is a little more complicated.
For Males: Hopefully!
For FEMALES: Most likely, no.

Females, go ahead and strength train without the worry of getting “bigger”. The advantages are still great: increased bone density, lean muscle mass, and increased metabolism.
