Functional Training – It’s a buzz-word we hear often around the gym. What exactly is Functional Training and how can it benefit you?
Functional Training is full body movement exercises done in different planes of motion to mimic real life situations: squatting, pulling, pushing, lunging, and twisting. Functional Training should begin with body weight alone. As your form is perfected, you can progress to dumbbells, resistance bands, BOSU, stability balls, kettlebells, etc.…
You will see the benefits of Functional Training in your everyday activities through:
