Acorn Squash w/ Chicken Sausage, Onion, Apple Hash
Another healthy recipe this month to help you SQUASH out stress and provide easy and satisfying nourishment in your home.

Preheat oven 350 degrees

Cut Acorn squash in half from stem to base.

Place face down in 9×13 Pyrex dish (seeds included) and add enough shallow water to cover the bottom of the dish.

Cook for 1 hour or until insides are tender.

Meanwhile, in a pan saute’ 2-3 chicken or turkey sausages, one onion, and one apple. (amount based on using ONE Acorn squash)

When squash is cooked scoop out seeds and dispose of them.

Fill the Acorn squash with saute mix

Bake for additional 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
