Happy Father’s Day and National Men’s Health Month.  As we celebrate all the men in our lives, we also encourage them to make small changes for a healthier lifestyle. Simple ideas to get started:
  • Be physically active: Take the family for a walk.  Grab a group of friends for a bike ride or golf game.  Hike the trails.
  • Get good nutrition:  Fire up the grill and cook up some lean protein with a side of roasted vegetables.  Take time to meal plan and prep instead of reaching for processed snacks.
  • See your doctor:   A yearly physical can establish baselines for:  blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, and other risk factors.
