NEW SESSION STARTS WEEK OF FEBRUARY 17.
One Step is a program created for adults that have been medically diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. The goal of One Step is to provide safe, therapeutic exercise that addresses the issues of fatigue, walking, weakness and depression and empowers with emotional support through facilitated conversation in a controlled environment. One Step curriculum is supported by the National MS Society of New Jersey. The course is led by a team of trained, certified instructors.
One Step is a free program, open to YMCA members and the public. Registration is required.
Classes meet twice a week for 12 weeks in the MultiPurpose Room at the Deer Path Branch. Participants may attend either session, but are encouraged to attend both.
- Tuesdays 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
- Thursdays 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm
