We are pleased to launch our new virtual platform – Virtual Y. This special platform is exclusive to Active Full Facility members and includes recorded and live group fitness classes, led by HCY Instructors.
To Access Virtual Y:
- Click Virtual Y button.
- In the Sign-In Area enter your Y membership barcode number, which can be found on your scan tag. If you need help accessing this number contact the Welcome Center at 908-782-1030

How do I access Virtual Y?
Go to hcymca.org/virtual and click the Virtual Y button. On the next page enter your membership barcode number. From there, you can join a live stream class at its scheduled time or view previously recorded videos, as well as, follow our HCY Healthy Blog.
How do Live Stream classes work? Can the Instructor see me?
You will be able to see the instructor, but the instructor will not be able to see you. So if you feel unsure and uncoordinated or have kids and pets running around in the background, don’t worry, no one can see.
I would like feedback from a Trainer when I work out at home, how can I do that?
If you would like work with a Trainer as you work out at home, try Virtual Personal Training. Virtual PT brings you accountability and motivation at YOUR location. Your one-on-one coaching with a Certified Personal Trainer via video on ZOOM will assist you in reaching your fitness goals. Can I tell my friends about Virtual Y?
We hope you enjoy Virtual Y and will tell your friends about it. Virtual Y is exclusive to Full Facility Members so encourage them to join too. Then you can participate in Virtual and In-Person classes together for extra motivation and fun.
I can’t join the Live Stream class at the scheduled time. Will the class be recorded for later?
The majority of the Live Stream classes will be recorded for viewing on your schedule. Due to our licensing agreement with MOSSA (Groove, Strength Train, Defend, etc.), those classes cannot be recorded and only available during the Live Stream.
I can’t find my membership barcode number or am having trouble logging in. What should I do?
