At the Y, strengthening community is our cause.

Those we serve turn to us to help them make healthier choices, keep their children safe, and provide opportunities for socialization and friendship.

But some families in Hunterdon County struggle to pay the rent, put food on the table, and buy basic household items. Last year, 1,450 community members benefited from $464,000 in financial assistance to participate in the programs and services the Y provides.

“The scholarship program has made a tremendous difference in our lives. I am a single mother of three children and without the scholarship program we would not be able to enjoy the many programs the Y has to offer. I am able to continue my education as a nursing student, by being able to utilize the childcare program. Without the scholarship granted to my family, I would never have been able to pursue my education and break the cycle of poverty.”

Those are the gifts you are giving to individuals in need with your tax-deductible contribution.

Through the Annual Campaign, we make sure our doors are open to all. Your support will help more than a thousand children, teens, adults and seniors live happier and healthier lives.
